Splitting up The New Day was a heart-breaking moment for fans, as they were one of the teams that audiences never truly wanted to disband. The trio bled positivity and were a welcome presence in a company full of severity and often poorly written humour. However, when one door closes another opens, and for Big E this could be the door into the main event.

We have seen New Day members get a successful world title run before, and now it seems that Big E is well on his way to attaining such a goal. Even if he doesn't, going out into a singles run whilst maintaining the energy he garnered from New Day points towards him finding success.

The combination of his positive attitude, fantastic humour and legitimate powerhouse ability is all that the superstar needs to make it big. 2021 seems likely to be the year that we see Big E have his potential fully realised. Although his recent antics lean a little too heavily on the goofy side, he is more than capable of toning it down.

As of writing this article, Big E is engaged in a feud with Sami Zayn, proving that WWE has strong aspirations for him, seeing as they inserted him into a mid-card title picture so soon after his New Day split.
