3. Chad Gable
Long gone are the days of the dreaded Shorty G era in Chad Gable’s career. However, the former amateur wrestling star is still treading water within the walls of WWE. At least the whole Alpha Academy schtick is keeping him busy, but even the man himself could surely admit that being lumped with Otis is not the best that he could be doing.
A man that was once touted as the next Kurt Angle should be a singles star in at least a top of the midcard position. NXT would love having his services back, he would fit nicely in the North American Title scene, as well as the Main Event scene if they needed him to provide a new challenger for the top title.
Plus, in the more sheltered environment of the CWC, he could ply his trade a bit more and work out the few kinks that he still has in his decorated skill set. Gable could certainly be a nice little pet project for Triple H over the next year until he can return to Raw or SmackDown as the star that he deserves to be.
