10 WWE Wrestlers The Undertaker Faced Only Once

2. Owen Hart

On an episode of Monday Night RAW that featured such mouth-watering matches as Tekno Team 2000 vs. The Bodydonnas and The 1-2-3 Kid vs. Marc Mero, The Undertaker took on Owen Hart in the main event. 'Taker was feuding with Goldust at the time, and regrettably the commentators spend most of the match talking about how unorthodox The Bizarre One is.

Which is an added shame because the match is actually pretty darn good. Owen Hart truly is one of the best professional wrestlers of all time, and his control of this match is absolutely magical. The King of Harts bumps like a mad man for the Deadman, and some of his work on 'Taker's leg is exemplary.

Goldust gets involved towards the end however, inadvertently distracting Owen long enough for 'Taker to hit a Jumping Tombstone for the win. It is definitely worth seeking out the 6 May 1996 episode of Raw on the WWE Network for this one.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
