10 WWE Wrestlers Too Good For Their Current Role

5. Aleister Black

In NXT Aleister Black was an enigmatic and mysterious force with one of the best entrances in the company. With a thrilling move set built on vicious strikes, his bold and dark persona should have thrived on the main roster.

So what did WWE do? If "gave him a long reign with the Intercontinental Championship" was your answer, you are a wrong. That is what WWE SHOULD have done. Rather, Black was told to sit in a dark room for weeks on end and spit nonsensical verbiage which was a supreme waste of his talents. Everyone except the writers could clearly see this.

Following this rubbish, Black brought the house down in fantastic brawls with Cesaro and Buddy Murphy, showcasing how simple it was to get his presentation right. Unfortunately, WWE handles simplicity as well as John Cena handles good haircuts.

Featured in the 2020 Money In The Bank comedy show, Black was thrown to his implied death in defeat, although it was only his career that was slowly dying, as he did nothing of note before turning heel on Kevin Owens for very little reason.

Drafted to Smackdown in October, he has since yet to appear on the Blue brand. Aleister should really give the creative team a Black Mass each to punish them for his mistreatment.
