10 WWE Wrestlers Triple H SAVED In 2022

8. LA Knight

Let's face it: Maximum Male Models is one of those Vince McMahon ideas ripped straight from the 1980s. It's a modern retelling of 'The Model' Rick Martel, and the idea that arrogant, image-obsessed lads who are comfortable in front of cameras gets on everyone's t*ts is hardly new to pro wrestling.

It was quickly going nowhere though, and that left LA Knight sinking as Max Dupri. He needed an out, and Triple H handed him one when Vince retired. Dupri was ditched, the LA Knight name returned, and the former NXT heel now finds himself in the thick of a feud opposite comeback sensation Bray Wyatt.

That's a huge leap in fortunes.

Knight went from a*se-farting about with Mace and Mansoor to a compelling part of Wyatt's inner battle, and he'll be better for it. Realistically, LA could spin out of this mini-feud vs. Bray into something else substantial on the midcard, and that has to put a smile on his chops.
