When you've spent most of your career wrestling as El Generico, you know you'll have to make some alterations for WWE.

When Zayn started in NXT, he removed his mask, which was already a significant change for the character. He went on to capture the hearts of many with his classic underdog persona, stunning matches and brilliant in-ring storytelling.

He also achieved this with an excellent wrestling look, sporting black trunks with some eye-catching designs and an everyman wardrobe that made him a relatable babyface. But, looking at where he is now, it seems that the "everyday" aspect of his wardrobe has gone a little far.

Nowadays, in his conspiracy theorist persona, Zayn is an entirely different person. His unkempt hair and enormous beard make him physically unrecognisable, but his ring attire has also gone off the deep end. He's now wrestling in a variation of cargo pants, making him look more like a guy who wandered in off the street than a wrestler.

Whether you like his look or not is up to you, but it's certainly different to his debut appearance.
