10 WWE Wrestlers Who Benefited Most From Turning Heel
4. Alexa Bliss
Few could argue the claim that Alexa Bliss, the bane of fan favourite Bayley since making the jump to Raw earlier this year, is currently one of the best heels in all of WWE.
This is a mantle she has held with distinction since getting her first main roster nod in 2016, after a stint in NXT that failed to yield anything significant in terms of championship wins or memorable in-ring performances.
Having aligned herself with Blake and Murphy, 'The Goddess of WWE' departed the developmental ranks a heel - but that wasn't how her wrestling career began.
In fact, in the early goings, Bliss played a meek character whose approach to the rule-book couldn't be further from that of the win-at-all-costs villainess she is today.
Whoever decided that she needed a character shift deserves a huge pat on the back.
