10 WWE Wrestlers Who Break The Corporate Mould

1. Shinsuke Nakamura

Shinsuke Nakamura is such an anomaly in the wrestling world, not just WWE. There are no other performers who can match the same charisma level as the King of Strong Style, as he carries himself in an overly flashy manner and has generated some of the most exciting and quirky mannerisms ever seen in a performer. As such, he contradicts the tough and macho presentation that WWE has always favoured.

World Wrestling Entertainment has had an appalling track record with its international employees, particularly those who hail from Japan. Even today, their poor representations are still visible in the terrible ninja gimmick that Akira Tozawa has been slumped with. However, Nakamura stands against this, as not only has there been little reference to his nationality, but he's had many opportunities to break into the main event. While they didn't go too well in the past, his sudden resurgence of popularity could be a sign of a coming push, that places him back on top of the wrestling world.

He breaks the company mould thanks to his flamboyant and over-the-top personality and his ability to transcend the negative connotations that WWE often places upon their non-western stars.
