10 WWE Wrestlers Who Could Thrive In AEW

9. Tye Dillinger

Fellow WWE enhancement talent Tye Dillinger would probably enjoy doing something other than holding 10 fingers aloft as well.

Dillinger has suffered from a common problem in the WWE sphere; a big cheese on NXT who had some hype, he ultimately failed to capture fan attention on the main roster and has thus rolled out of view. In 2019, the 'Perfect 10' may as well already be out of the company as far as some casual fans are concerned.

Time is running out for Tye too. He's 37, and it's hardly like he has some epic run ahead of him on SmackDown this year. His chances of doing anything other than jobbing or appearing in throwaway comedy skits are severely limited, and so he may well be better off building his own brand elsewhere rather than spinning his wheels in WWE.

Giving up the safety net of a WWE pay check wouldn't be easy, but it must be creatively disheartening for Tye that he's used so sparingly by his current employer. In AEW, he could ditch the 10 gimmick and get back to basics.
