8. Luke Harper

When It Should Have Happened: From his highly versatile moveset to a dedication to his deranged persona, there is little doubt Luke Harper is among WWE's most underrated members of the roster right now. As important a puzzle piece as he has been in The Wyatt Family for the past three years, it is only natural that he breaks off on his own to become a successful singles star.

Granted, he spent some time in singles competition in early 2015 and even scored a short stint as Intercontinental champion, but he was never utilized to his full potential. He played a major part in the Intercontinental Championship Ladder match at WrestleMania 31 by putting Dean Ambrose through a ladder at ringside, but he was mostly overshadowed by the bigger names in the bout.

Had he been booked better in the first few months of 2015, he could have gone up against one of his former stablemates in a meaningful match at WrestleMania. There's a decent chance he could have wrestled his first singles match against The Rock at WrestleMania 32, but an injury he suffered mere weeks ahead of the event prevented that from happening.

Chances of It Happening In the Future: Perhaps his premier singles match at 'Mania is better saved for later down the line when he won't be squashed in a matter of seconds. As noted, he is a star waiting to break out. He just can't be relegated to the role of lackey for the rest of his career.
