Poor Mr. Kennedy...he was poised to achieve huge things in WWE, but sadly, his body had other plans.

Kennedy (...Kennedy) made his main roster debut in August of 2005, and by that December, he was already sidelined with a torn latissimus dorsi. The injury would keep him out of main roster action until the following June, at which point he'd have yet another injury scare after suffering a massive cranial laceration.

Luckily, his 20-stitch wound did not take long to heal, and he was back in action in no time. As his career finally appeared to be on the upswing that fans had anticipated for him, tragedy struck again.

Shortly after winning the Money in the Bank briefcase at WrestleMania 23, it was reported that Kennedy (...Kennedy) had torn his triceps completely off the bone, forcing him to drop his newly-acquired World Heavyweight Championship opportunity to Edge on an episode of RAW. While the injury didn't turn out to be as serious as initially thought, it most certainly halted his momentum.

He returned once again that October, but once more failed to last a full year on the roster as an in-ring talent, as he'd suffer a dislocated shoulder at an August 2008 house show. Finally, in spite of weeks of elaborate promo packages hyping his May 2009 return, he was infamously released from his contract just four days after coming back.

To summarise, Kennedy (...Kennedy) went from having a personal endorsement from Vince McMahon to being blacklisted thanks to one of WWE's golden boys. What could've been...
