10 WWE Wrestlers Who Hated Triple H

6. Ken Shamrock

JERICHO TRIPLE H

Putting aside the inherent ridiculousness of the WWE Hall of Fame for a moment, it seems equally silly that Ken Shamrock still hasn't been inducted into the mythical list of important superstars. The World's Most Dangerous Man was extremely influential in his time, ushering in a sense of realism and credibility that the industry has been kind of obsessed with ever since. Shamrock never won the WWE Championship but his fingerprints are all over modern wrestling.

If you're wondering why he isn't in the Hall of Fame or hasn't even returned for a nostalgia run over the last 20 years, look no further than Triple H. Shamrock claims that the issues between the two stem from Hunter having to put Shamrock over in those early days, a rather childish grudge in an industry built on babyface badass beating pompous heel.

Sticking with childish, Shamrock has also told a story about Triple H and others ribbing a young Mark Henry by putting sh*t in his sandwich. Why you'd want to put actual poo in a sandwich is one thing, why you'd want to annoy a legitimate strong man is another, but Shamrock decided that enough was enough and told Hunter and co. to stop. If Shamrock tells you to stop, you stop.

Again, grudges be grudges, and the issues between the two have been simmering ever since.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
