For most of those featured on this list, you can make the argument that they peaked in 2017 because of glaring deficiencies which will prevent them from ever reaching the same dizzy heights again.

With Alexa Bliss, however, that doesn't really hold true. The 26-year-old is dynamite on the mic, and however true it may be that she doesn't quite stack up to the likes of Charlotte and Sasha Banks in the ring, she is forever improving that side of her game.

But, really, where else is there to go? She completely dominated the Monday Night Raw women's scene this year in a way that nobody else - except perhaps Brock Lenar - could really say of their own division.

The self-proclaimed Goddess of WWE may follow things up with a similarly stellar 2018, but that would only mean matching the performance of this year. To better it, she would have to do something that surprises us all, like share a genuinely great singles bout at WrestleMania, or pick up a couple of those female first records, like winning the Rumble or headlining a Big Four pay-per-view.
