10 WWE Wrestlers Who Tried To Kill Roman Reigns

Ali's removal from the Elimination Chamber main event earlier this year triggered the chain of events that led Kofi Kingston to WrestleMania WWE Championship glory, but the former 205 Live star has been grappling with the difficult emotional ramifications of his sideways shift ever since.

A series of enjoyable vignettes first positioned him as something of a contemporary vigilante following years of doing right by society, but there's been a gradual shift over recent weeks as he's pivoted into complaining about what might have been rather than simply getting back in the hunt for the title still held by the man that first took his spot.

In absence of an opportunity to topple Kofi at SummerSlam (whilst being leveraged as part of Randy Orton's own shot, just to make matters even worse), could Ali have gone straight for the 'Big Dog' rather than the top one? Without an opponent for the 'Biggest Party Of The Summer' and acutely aware that Roman Reigns wouldn't have him in his radar, could Ali have taken his opportunity rather than being afforded it? The former police officer is no stranger to a crime scene, even if it's one he's caused himself.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
