10 WWE Wrestlers Who Were Better In The Indies

6. Gallows & Anderson

El Generico At Chikara 2013
NJPW

Gallows and Anderson were introduced to the WWE audience early last year and their first twelve months has been a little hit and miss: they briefly held gold, they briefly reunited with AJ Styles, and they briefly looked like they were being taken seriously. On the whole, there is still a lingering sense that they are something of an after-thought in the Raw tag division, their erstwhile position as the brand's top heel team having since been filled by Sheamus and Cesaro.

As part of the Bullet Club - a banner they performed under both in NJPW and on the American independent scene - they were an altogether more legitimate force, given the opportunity to develop their take-no-prisoners persona instead of merely drifting from one nondescript face versus heel feud to the next.
