Big E. isn't the only under-utilised WWE star with buckets of strength, athleticism, and charisma. Cesaro is the physical embodiment of such things, a man who performs incredible feats of strength before gliding off the ropes with all the ease of a junior heavyweight. The 'Swiss Superman' is consistently considered to be WWE's most underrated superstar - has the time come for him to try his luck elsewhere?

Cesaro's talent has never been in doubt, but his ability to connect with crowds has often been called into question. This sometimes feels like a false argument though, in that WWE's presentation of Cesaro has consistently harmed him more than anything.

New Japan's core audience cares more about what happens in the ring than what happens outside of it, and Cesaro's supposed limitations on the microphone wouldn't be an issue - real or perceived. The sad truth is that Cesaro is going to be looked back on as one of WWE's most underused stars in history.

In New Japan, the 'Swiss Superman' would surely excel.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
