10 WWE Wrestlers Who Would Be Right At Home In NJPW
5. Fandango
Okay, this one might take some convincing. Fandango is WWE's most entertaining afterthought, a comedy character who exists to exude a sinister sexual energy and get pinned very quickly. If he hadn't been concussed shortly after making his debut, things could have been so very different. As it is, Fandango is at the bottom of the WWE food chain.
The weird character is a joy to behold, but it is so easy to forget that Fandango is also an exceptionally solid professional wrestler. Underneath the gyrating and heavy breathing is a performer with solid fundamentals and plenty of experience. Fandango might be difficult to imagine in New Japan, but Dirty Johnny Curtis could well be a shock hit.
Juice Robinson (NXT's CJ Parker) has reinvented himself in Japan. When he left NXT he was the developmental brand's designated jobber, but now he is gearing up to challenge Tetsuya Naito for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship. Fandango is one of wrestling's most underrated talents - New Japan could be the place for him to shine.
