10 WWE Wrestlers You Forgot Worked In Ring Of Honor

The Charismatic Enigma would appear in Ring of Honor two times, both following exits from WWE, to varying results.

His first appearance in ROH after being released from Vince McMahon’s company came under his Willow the Wisp character. Surprisingly, fans were not happy to see Hardy, who booed and heckled him the entire match. While the Charismatic Enigma would win the triple threat match, defeating Joey Matthews and Krazy K, he would not be seen in Ring of Honor for 14 years. Thankfully when Hardy would return, these appearances were much more well received.

At arguably the peak of the Hardy Boyz Broken gimmick, their Expedition of Gold took them back to Ring of Honor. At Manhattan Mayhem 6, Broken Matt and Brother Nero defeated the Young Bucks to win the ROH World Tag Team Championships. They would hold the titles for just under a month, defending them against The Briscoe Brothers, Roppongi Vice, and The Young Bucks. At SuperCard of Honor, their one on one rematch was booked against The Young Bucks, this time in both teams trademark ladder match.

At the event, Jeff and his brother Matt would lose their titles to the The Bucks. They would not receive a rematch, as little did anyone know, but the Hardy Boyz would make their highly anticipated return to WWE the following night at WrestleMania.
