10 WWE Wrestlers You Forgot Worked In Ring Of Honor

2. Ken Shamrock

After a critically acclaimed two year run in WWE, Ken Shamrock left Vince McMahon's company in order to resume his career in mixed martial arts.

While still a fighter for the Ultimate Fighting Championship and other organizations, The World's Most Dangerous Man was approached by Ring of Honor to appear at their Round Robin Challenge event. After losing his return fight the month prior, Shamrock was given the role of special guest referee in the main event match between Bryan Danielson and Low-Ki.

While fans may have been hoping for the UFC fighter to get involved in some capacity, that did not happen for the most part. The only physical involvement Shamrock had in the match was dragging both Low-Ki and Danielson back into the middle of the ring after a submission reached the ropes. Calling the action down the middle, Shamrock was forced to end the match after Danielson made Low Ki pass out to Cattle Mutilation.

Even though the UFC legend did not get physically involved in this stellar bout, fans can add this to Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart at WrestleMania 13 as two five star classics that Ken Shamrock refereed. While The World's Most Dangerous Man has never wrestled a match for Ring of Honor, since his return to wrestling a few years ago, Ken Shamrock has often stated his desire to do so.
