10 WWE Wrestlers You'd Never Guess Were Suspended

8. Sin Cara

Recruited by Triple H, fans had high hopes for Sin Cara upon his WWE signing in March 2011. It appeared he was on the fast track to super stardom when he debuted on Raw the night after WrestleMania 27, but his bypassing of developmental soon proved to be his downfall.

Without a doubt, no WWE Superstar was a bigger flop in 2011 than Sin Cara. His matches were almost always filled with embarrassing botches, he could barely speak English, and he closed out the awful year with an injury that sidelined him from action for six months.

Perhaps his most notable undoing came in July when he was suspended for 30 days for botching a pee test... sorry, violating the WWE Wellness Policy. WWE did a clever job of writing him off TV by having Sheamus put him through a ladder at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, but before he could return, officials had Hunico reprise the character, unbeknownst to the fans, until Mistico returned a short while later.

Of course, this would later lead to one of the most confusing feuds in recent history between the two masked marvels.
