10 WWE Wrestlers You'd Never Guess Were Suspended

7. Heath Slater

Since his NXT debut in February 2010, Heath Slater has forever been WWE's resident jobber. Aside from his three reigns as WWE Tag Team champion while part of The Nexus, he's never gotten above a certain level and likely never will. And that's completely okay considering he's perfect in the role.

Therefore, it's questionable why he would ever feel the need to do something that would cause him to violate the WWE Wellness Policy. On October 17, 2011, he was suspended for 30 days, and it's uncertain if anyone ever noticed he was gone.

At the time, he wasn't involved in anything of note other than losing all of his matches, and he was essentially was back to being an enhancement talent upon his December return. I guess that's one of the few benefits to being so low on the WWE totem pole: he couldn't have been punished for getting suspended because he was hardly on TV as it was.
