10 WWE Wrestlers You'd Never Guess Were Suspended

6. Darren Young

The only thing worse than being an enhancement talent was being placed on WWE's NXT: Redemption program back in 2011. For those who didn't watch it (and you can't be blamed for that), it was basically a show that featured nothing but meaningless matches and pointless programs.

Among the show's regulars was Darren Young, who was actually gaining momentum following his heel turn that fall. He appeared to have formed alliance with JTG when he was suspended for 30 days that October, cutting their partnership short.

The suspension didn't change Young's standing on the show, however, as he returned to rekindle his rivalry with Titus O'Neil as soon as he was cleared to compete. They later joined forces to form The Prime Time Players, a tandem that still exists to this day, so perhaps the suspension worked to his advantage.
