100 Greatest WWE Royal Rumble Moments Ever

65. Now Can You Dig That, Sucker? (2011)

WWE Royal Rumble 2020 Edge
WWE

Having left the company in 2007 and spent a few years in TNA, 2011 saw Booker T make his WWE return as a surprise entrant in that year’s Royal Rumble.

With CM Punk and his New Nexus cleaning house - Punk himself amassing an impressive seven eliminations - Booker T arrived at #21 to put up a spirited if not brief flurry of offense against the Second City Saint and his crew.

There was a Scissor Kick, there was a Book End, and there was even a Spinaroonie. And then there was an elimination after barely a minute courtesy of Welsh powerhouse Mason Ryan.

But there’d be plenty more to come for Booker T back in WWE, for he’d soon join the SmackDown commentary team and continue to work as a sporadic in-ring talent - most notably in a feud against Cody Rhodes.
