100 Greatest WWE Royal Rumble Moments Ever

13. Maven Shocks The Undertaker (2002)

Shout out to Maven for shooting himself near the top of any list looking at the best Rumble moments ever. His work during the 2002 match would certainly qualify as one of the most shocking. It came completely out of the blue, and shows just how giving The Undertaker was even back then when he still had approximately a solid decade ahead of him as a full-timer.

Maven dropkicked 'Taker out of the ring, then looked like he regretted it immediately. Furious, the Deadman decided to bust the Tough Enough rookie wide open and throw him out of the match too. Take that, Al Snow! Seriously, this was a dramatic exit for one of WWE's biggest legends. The gusher, brought on by thinning blood with a little pre-match Jack Daniel's, helped too.

There's no denying that.

This would end up being Maven's biggest landmark moment inside WWE rings. He didn't live up to the high hopes management had for him in the end, and was released in 2005. At least he can say he entered the Royal Rumble history books!
