Marvel StudiosCM Punk has actually described himself as
being most like Tony Stark out of everyone in either the X-Men or Avengers, stating "Tony Stark - without the alcohol, obviously. The guy has all the coolest toys in the toy-box" when asked the question specifically in the build-up to Avengers Vs X-Men. However, like Tom Hiddleston with Loki - perhaps even more so - Robert Downey, Jr. has made the role of Tony Stark and Iron Man his own in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so Punk's potential as the character is certainly limited to voicing him. Although Punk is very charismatic and sarcastic like Tony Stark (and indeed like Robert Downey, Jr.) and does have the dark hair and (sometimes) facial hair to resemble the character, a live action depiction is certainly too big for Punk to pull off in the present day.
