4. Kyle Rayner
DC ComicsAnother heroic character who CM Punk could potentially play in live action without there being a major fan backlash is the Green Lantern Kyle Rayner. Rayner isn't well known enough outside of the world of comics for most people to bat an eyelid at a seemingly obscure casting - DC could potentially cast whoever they wanted and it would either work or it wouldn't - and Punk is a pretty good choice for Rayner in our eyes. The most creative of the Lanterns, Rayner's penchant for creativity mirrors that of Punk's - Punk being someone who is clearly quite arty (just look at his tattoos) and someone who has expressed an interest in writing comics in the past - and the character's look isn't too dissimilar to Punk's that a casting would be ridiculous (indeed, the character isn't known well enough for his appearance to matter to most people anyway). If indeed Rayner was to front his own movie, it may be a step too far to expect Punk to make it a success on his own (especially given the fact that the previous Green Lantern movie with Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan sucked) but, if DC and Warner Brothers are building a full Corps in the new DC Cinematic Universe, they could do worse than giving Punk a shot as one of the cogs in the machine (and we're sure that he could pull off the essential "strong-willed" aspect of the character).
