It’s actually kind of amazing that Tyler Breeze is making Survivor Series this year at all. After last year’s show, he’s had quite the brutal year.

Breeze debuted shortly before last year’s event, and set his sights on Dolph Ziggler. They battled it out, and the rookie won in under seven minutes. That seemed to be a statement on how Ziggler’s career was going to play out in the near future, and also seemed to show that management was interested in giving Breeze a bit of a push. That notion didn’t last long.

Ziggler got his wins back in subsequent rematches, and Breeze went on to enjoy an incredible losing streak. It was starting to feel like the company was just going to let him go. Now, though, he’s being given another shot with fellow troubled act Fandango. Together as Breezeango, they’ve made the SmackDown tag team Survivor Series match...but are likely the first ones to go out.

Meanwhile, Ziggler has been getting a bit of a push again, as he’s received a pay-per-view main event in the past year, and is enjoying another run with the Intercontinental Title. It’s crazy to see how fast fortunes reverse in WWE.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
