Katie Lea burst onto WWE programming as the sister of Paul Burchill.

Initially, she and Paul were supposed to be an incestuous sibling duo. However, as WWE ventured towards the PG era, that plan was scrapped completely. At first, Katie was relegated to being her on-screen brother's manager. However, shortly thereafter, Katie found herself in the ring, teaming with Paul, but also getting the chance to go at it on her own.

Her first and only major feud was against Mickie James for the Women's Championship. While Katie failed to capture the gold, it was clear that she had great skills in the ring. From there, Katie found herself wrestling sporadically, teaming with the likes of Jillian Hall, Melina and Beth Phoenix. She mostly competed on secondary programmes such as WWE Main Event and Superstars.

Like Luna, Katie never captured any gold in WWE. In her last several months with the company, Katie changed up her look, taking on a more unique style and persona. Even her theme music was more sinister. However, she never got the chance to really play it on TV.

As WWE fully embraces a more diverse women's roster today, all with unique looks and styles, Katie Lea would have fit in perfectly.

Evan has been a wrestling fan since the age of seven, a time when children should not have been watching wrestling. That's right...the attitude era!! He loves talking about wrestling, writing about wrestling, and fantasizing about working for a wrestling company one day. Aside from that, he loves all things pop culture: movies, music, and TV. He also loves to read, travel (even though he doesn't do much of it), and explore new things about this crazy ass world.
