11 Huge AEW All Out 2021 Predictions You Need To Know
1. World Championship: Kenny Omega (c) vs. Christian Cage
Christian Cage defeating Kenny Omega for the IMPACT World Championship was a dramatic tool used to generate excitement for the All Out main event, which initially felt underwhelming in the wake of the Hangman Page news. It succeeded. Thanks to this and Don Callis' old relationship with Cage, for whom he takes credit for breaking into the business, AEW has conjured heat and intrigue that wasn't there before.
The first match was excellent. More of a Christian match than a Kenny match in the way it unravelled, it was crafted with care and attention, starting methodically before building to the crescendo - and Kenny's comeuppance. The steel chair he brought into the ring in the first place ended up his own downfall.
Perhaps the most exciting thing about the first match was it felt like they were holding something back for the sequel. Coming away from it, it was hard to shake the impression that Omega and Cage still had a few gears left to run through, so All Out should be tremendous. They're two smart workers with contrasting styles but similar dedication to their craft.
But Kenny losing is unthinkable.
Winner: Kenny Omega
