The thing you want to happen is going to happen at Full Gear 2021.

Don't let anybody tell you otherwise. Here, after a two-year chase, AEW is going to pay off the one storyline it has been building pretty much since launch, when Hangman Page conquers Kenny Omega to become World Champion. It'll be the biggest and most organic victory in company history - and the fanbase will luxuriate in it. Their guy is going to pull it off.

The counterarguments don't stack up. Chris Jericho, the Tag Team Titles, splitting from The Elite, Brian Cage, the Dark Order multi-man tag, the first Kenny loss... Page has had enough misfortunes. One more would put his popularity in jeopardy and risk typecasting him as a loser. This demented obsession with generating MORE heat rather than pulling the trigger when something is over and the crowd is ready for it has killed countless babyface runs in the other mainstream American promotion, and it can't be allowed to happen here.
