11 HUGE NJPW/ROH G1 Supercard Predictions You Need To Know

8. Mayu Iwatani (c) Vs. Kelly Klein (Women Of Honor World Title)

Mayu Iwatani
NJPW/ROH

It's hard to know what to make of ROH's struggling Women Of Honor division.

While women's wrestling has taken off big everywhere else in the world (particularly in WWE, where Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey, and Charlotte Flair will headline WrestleMania 35), North American's second biggest promotion just can't seem to get it together. The talent pool isn't half as deep as it could be, and the booking is worse. A general lack of focus led to the talented Madison Rayne's recent departure, and while current champion Mayu Iwantani is among the best in the world, that the likes of Mandy Leon and Sumie Sakai have been relied on so heavily highlights the group's limitations.

Iwatani will continue her feud with Kelly Klein in Madison Square Garden. 'The Gatekeeper' is a solid hand, but this will be the third time that her and the Japanese star have faced off in as many months. This makes it tough to get too excited about a contest that Iwantani should win if Ring Of Honor are serious about women's wrestling.

Winner: Mayu Iwatani.
