11 HUGE NJPW/ROH G1 Supercard Predictions You Need To Know

5. Guerrillas Of Destiny (c) Vs. PCO/Brody King (c) Vs. EVIL/SANADA Vs. The Briscoes (Title Vs. Title)

G1 Supercard tag match
NJPW

What a mess of a match this is, but such is NJPW's general booking philosophy when it comes to tag team wrestling.

These teams have all been thrown into the bout with little to no build. For background, this is Guerrillas Of Destiny's fifth reign as IWGP Tag Team Champions, with Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa taking the belts from EVIL and SANADA on an Honor Rising show in February. Brody King and PCO, meanwhile, have only been ROH Champions for three weeks, besting company legends Mark and Jay Briscoe for the straps on 15 March. Now, one of these new sets of champions is guaranteed to lose their belts inside Madison Square Garden.

Knowing this makes it relatively easy to rule out PCO and Brody King, as it's hard to see these Villain Enterprises guys becoming regular New Japan fixtures. G.O.D. are the safest bet. Bullet Club is resurgent, and they are at the forefront, though their Los Ingobernables de Japon rivals are worth a shout too.

As for the Briscoes? They only ever appear on ROH/NJPW collab shows these days. They might pull it off, but it's unlikely.

Winners: Guerrillas Of Destiny.
