11 HUGE WWE Extreme Rules 2018 Predictions You Need To Know

8. SmackDown Women’s Championship - Carmella Vs. Asuka (James Ellsworth In A Shark Cage)

Returning botherer James Ellsworth getting suspended above the ring in a shark cage will be what makes this particular contest "extreme", but Asuka might as well be wrestling in a Philadelphia Bingo Hall to complete the aesthetic for all the star aura she has left since WrestleMania.

'The Empress Of Tomorrow' is yesterday's news on SmackDown Live!, a loser like all the rest - lower than that in fact on account of what she actually had to lose compared to the rest of stake-less nerds that made up the division underneath the never-ending hope of the Becky Lynch fan club.

It gets no better here, sadly. The company seems enamoured with Carmella, and to be fair to the 'Princess Of Staten Island' it's understandable to see why. She's a magnificent and magnetic d*ckhead in promos, and shows about as much regard for the matches she has as those putting them together. There's probably no act more synergistic with the product that the leopard-printed Women's Champion. Long may she reign.
