Let the fantasy booking commence!

In late 2013 WWE Champion Randy Orton defeated World Heavyweight Champion John Cena, and unified the two world titles some 11 years after they were de-unified. Since then WWE has had one world champion, meaning the opportunities for championship matches for those talents in the middle of the card have been harder to come by. The glass ceiling has seemed just that little bit higher since the unification.

With the two brands being unique to each other, does this mean that a new world championship will be introduced, giving both shows a top strap to fight for?

What does this mean for the Intercontinental and United States Championships? The Women's and the Tag Team Championships? This will be one of the most interesting questions to be answered when the brands split in July this year.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
