6. A Theoretical Lighter Schedule

WWE has suffered terribly from injuries over the past year or so, and a lot of this can be put down to the sheer struggle that is the full-time World Wrestling Entertainment schedule. It is one of the aspects of professional wrestling that is often overlooked by those who aren't fans, the sheer time-consuming sacrifice that being a pro wrestler entails.

By splitting the roster in half, the theory is that the schedule will become lighter for all involved. Live events have been split in half for a while, but by only having to commit to one set of TV tapings every week you could theoretically say that it is an extra day in the bag for each performer.

Either that or it just means one more live event whilst the other show is being taped. Yikes!

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
