When it comes to John Cena scandals, you simply can't ignore the way he's been consistently (and loudly) booed for over half a decade now. Chants of "Cena Sucks" usually outweigh the "Let's Go Cena" chants. This has morphed into a feature of the show, something which is now just part of Cena's character dynamic. However, when the boos and jeers first started, it was a really big scandal. How could WWE persevere with a babyface Champion who was so unpopular? A lot of fans were furious with having Cena shoved down their throats. WWE persevered anyway. They now tell the narrative that Cena is the most divisive champion in history. Cena sucks is now just a catchphrase that WWE and Cena himself encourage the audience to chant.
