4. Nikki ASH Vs. Rhea Ripley Vs. Charlotte Flair - RAW Women's Title Match

This was genuinely exciting, frantic, nicely-worked action that did not generate much response beyond the high spots because it was driven by the dirt-worst dog-sh*t storyline.

The d*ckhead heel, geek babyface, ill-defined tweener or whatever the f*ck Rhea Ripley is: all have traded wins in matches to build the match. If there's anybody who like this, they cannot possibly put forward a reasonable explanation. It is regurgitated, inexplicable, meaningless drivel in which nobody involved is halfway likeable.

The action flowed nicely and, with no story tell, it did not f*ck about. Nikki ASH, who probably knows she's f*cked, celebrated successful attacks as more wrestlers should do when she struck Flair and Ripley with a near-perfect top-rope crossbody to the outside. It was as great as Dominik's was woeful. She later took a boot straight to the head which was the opposite of a Flair aerial in that it connected. It connected really snugly.

There really wasn't much more to this than a chain of big moves, but the execution and flow worked beyond the usual genre trappings, and it genuinely felt like all three women agreed ahead of time that they had to do a movez match to stand a chance of it getting over.

And that they did.

Star Rating: ★★★½
