11 Most Brutal Acts Of Revenge In MMA History

1. The MMA World Cheers On Thug Rose

It’s fair to say that the whole MMA world was hoping that Rose Namajunas got revenge on UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 217 after Jedrzejczyk’s horrendous pre-fight comments.

Of course, Jedrzejczyk has always been one to try and stir the pot with controversial comments designed to get into the head of her opponent. With Namajunas, though, Jedrzejczyk stepped way, way over the line as she remarked about Thug Rose’s mental instability.

Namajunas has been extremely public about her mental health issues, that she was sexually abused as a child, and that her father was a schizophrenic who had to leave the family.

Thankfully, that UFC 217 contest saw the ridiculously calm Rose get the first-round TKO win, take Jedrzejczyk’s title belt, and bring the Polish fighter's perfect MMA record to a crashing halt.

Six months later the pair would have a rematch that Namajunas won by unanimous decision.

In terms of the most satisfying examples of revenge, it doesn't get much better than Rose Namajunas brutally dispatching of Joanna Jedrzejcyk at UFC 217.
