11 Most Important Divas In The Monday Night Wars

7. Jacqueline

As one of the few women on this list to compete for both companies during the Monday Night Wars, Jacqueline was a women's wrestling pioneer whose talent was in high demand. In WCW, she wasn't afraid to mix it up with men, often interfering on behalf of Kevin Sullivan with a well-timed bodyslam. She later feuded with Disco Inferno, whom she defeated at Halloween Havoc 1997. She became even more well-known in WWE, however, joining the company as Marc Mero's new girlfriend after Sable and Mero's long-awaited split. As popular as Sable was at the time, Jackie was her equally unpopular foil, and she battled Sable in everything from mixed tag team matches to bikini contests. When the WWE Women's Title was reinstituted in September of 1998, many expected Sable to claim the belt -- but Jacqueline defeated her nemesis, capturing the revived championship. Sable left WWE in 1999, but Jacqueline continued to compete in the company's women's division, helping to further differentiate WWE from WCW.
