Jeff Hardy had always had a special connection with the audience. During the Attitude Era, Jeff’s death-defying moveset made him a human highlight reel. Fans held onto the Charismatic Enigma, and his first singles run in 2002 looked promising.

After nearly toppling The Undertaker in an Undisputed Championship Ladder Match classic, Jeff soon disappeared from WWE television due to ongoing personal issues.

When he returned in 2006, Jeff quickly re-established himself as a firm fan favourite, and in 2008, he finally reached the pinnacle of his wrestling career, winning the WWE Championship.

Hardy may have missed a large chunk of the Ruthless Aggression Era, but when he was there, he played an integral part. While he may not have reached the levels of popularity of The Rock or Steve Austin, Jeff Hardy was one of the most well-liked wrestlers of the post-Attitude Era.
