2. Daniel Bryan

Selected Career Accomplishments: 3 Time WWE Champion, 1 Time World Heavyweight Champion, 1 Time United States Champion, 1 Time Tag Team Champion, 1 Time Mr Money In The Bank (WWE); 1 Time World Champion & 1 Time Pure Champion (ROH) Daniel Bryan was known as the American Dragon Brian Danielson in ROH, and is usually credited with being one of the founding fathers of the company. He has an extensive history there, wrestling from it's infancy in 2002 until 2009, when he signed a developmental deal with WWE. One of the greatest professional wrestlers in the world, Bryan cut his teeth in ROH, making a huge name for himself and becoming one of the superstars of the independent scene. His journey in WWE was bumpy, as has been well documented, including an inauspicious debut as a member of The Nexus and a subsequent firing (then rehiring) after breaching the limits of the PG rating. But he really found his niche in the company in 2011 and from that time on his bond with the WWE audience has only gotten stronger with every passing year. Truly one of the most popular wrestlers in history, Bryan's ultimate underdog story saw it's crowning achievement at Wrestlemania XXX, where he captured the WWE World Heavyweight title in the second of two matches that night. Having recently battled back from a career threatening neck injury, it remains to be seen if he will be rewarded with the title again anytime soon, but there is no doubt who the WWE Universe will chant for, at deafening volumes, at every given opportunity. Yes!
