4. Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs The Rock WWF Title (WrestleMania 17)
The two biggest wrestling stars (arguably ever) going one in one during the hottest period of the industry; The Rock vs Steve Austin was a main event that everyone was watching. The WWF's exposure had never been greater and it ended up being the most bought pay per view in company history (at that time), in addition to pulling a live crowd of 67,000 fans. When the video release came out a short while later, fans flocked back to watch the action again. It was a brilliant match. The controversial ending (in which Austin turned heel) ensured that repeat viewings to try and make sense of it all. Fans new to WWE continue to search this match out, as Austin and Rock are the names from the past that are most famous. Older fans also continue to watch it back, as it is an excellent reminder of what was so loved about the Attitude Era. From a historical point, it is also a massive turning point in wrestling history. That and the fact that it is considered a classic, ensure that it will remain strongly viewed on WWE Network.
