9. The Celebrated Women's Division Is Actually Really Light
Bayley and Sasha Banks are fantastic pro wrestlers, no doubt about that. Charlotte and Becky Lynch are also very good. But take a look at NXT's current female roster. Charlotte is gone, Lynch is gone, and Banks will be fully gone in the near future. Who does that leave for Bayley to work with? Dana Brooke, Carmella, Alexa Bliss, Emma, Asuka and Blue Pants. Blue Pants isn't even a contracted NXT worker. The fact is that the division is really light, and WWE attempted to tackle that issue by signing Asuka. The problem with Asuka is going to be the same problem every Japanese wrestler faces, and that's getting over in a US audience. Look at the problems the exceptional KENTA has had as Hideo Itami. The NXT women's roster peaked this spring, and is now light on the ground. Bliss and Brooke, the two stars WWE are keenest on, are nowhere near ready to run with the title. After so much celebration, the division is now remarkably light.
