11 Reasons Why The Million Dollar Man Was WWE's Biggest Heel
11. He Took A Count Out At WrestleMania 8 To Preserve The WWF World Tag Team Championship
WrestleMania is often called The Grandest Stage of Them All and The Showcase of the Immortals. The biggest sports entertainment spectacular of the year is where feuds come to a crescendo and championships change hands. For The Million Dollar Man its just another day at the office. Heading into WrestleMania VIII, Ted DiBiase was one half of WWF World Tag Team Champions Money Inc. with Irwin R. Schyster (IRS). The financially sound titleholders were on a collision course with number one contenders Earthquake and Typhoon, The Natural Disasters. With The Natural Disasters tipping the scales at a combined weight of 846 lbs., the reigning champions were clearly the underdogs. Money Inc. used every underhanded tactic they could think of, but they were no match for their monstrous opponents. Those titles were as good as gone. Just when it looked like it was curtains for IRS, manager Jimmy Hart pulled him to safety as Ted grabbed the belts and headed toward the locker room, willingly taking the count out loss. As we all know, a title can only change hands via pinfall or submission. Therefore, The Natural Disasters left WrestleMania empty-handed. You want to talk about HEAT? If something like that happened at WrestleMania today, the Internet Wrestling Community would implode and demand its money back.
