Even though Hardy landed on a prepared crash area, it was still a massive height and scary looking move. As much as he was protected on the landing, there's no way it didn't hurt. The unexpected shock of this moment stems from the insane danger. Nobody ever imagines a wrestler risking their life like that. You expect major spots, but you never expect a guy throwing himself off a scaffold. Nobody thought Jeff would actually go that high.
