11 Things WWE Must Do To Survive In 2016

1. Vince Needs To Take A Backseat

This one is probably even more ludicrous than WWE willingly jettisoning the third hour of Raw. Vince McMahon has been the captain of the ship since he took over for his father in 1982 and the steering wheel will probably have to be pried from his hands once he's left this plane of existence. The legendary promoter has a genius locked away inside his stubborn 70-year old jacked up frame, but he's proven to be incapable of letting that side out anymore. Is he too involved? Spreading himself too thin? Meanwhile, Triple H has shown with NXT that he has a solid grasp of what makes for fun, compelling wrestling programming, as well as demonstrating a penchant for pushing wrestlers the fans want to see rather than the ones who fit a preconceived mold regardless of how the crowd reacts to them. These are all essential tools that whoever is ultimately in charge needs to possess; tools that Vince used to have in abundance. Maybe he'd be better served running the financial aspect of the business and handing the creative duties over to his son-in-law and a new handpicked team of assistants (peace out, Kevin Dunn). I've already outlined multiple areas the company drastically needs to improve in and many of them fall directly at the feet of the WWE chairman. Is it time for Mr. McMahon to step down?
