The mix-matched smiley babyface duo of CM Punk and Kofi Kingston defeated Legacy members Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr. to capture the World Tag Team Titles on the October 27th, 2008 Raw.

The duo were a popular act and looked to have some potential but the rug was unexpectdly pulled from under them during a run-of-the-mill house show in Hamilton, Ontario (seriously, WWE, stop changing champions at Canadian non-televised events) on December 13th.

The Awesome One and Jo-Mo held the titles until WrestleMania XXV, where they lost it to the Colons on the pre-show.
