5. Last Man Standing: Choking Your Opponent With The Ropes
Back to John Cena, back to Last Man Standing, and back to using the ring in ways it wasn't intended again (although in a much more intensely violent way). Cena's opponent this time was Umaga, who at that point was booked so strongly he required either a tranquilizer dart or electrified net in order to be beaten. Cena had actually defeated him in a singles match, but looked the underdog (what a surprise) coming into a Last Man Standing match with Umaga. Being able to get the better of him from 10 seconds rather than 3 was going to take something out of the extraordinary. As the match progressed Cena resorted to extremes, including launching the steps at Umaga's head (a spot he recently revisited in a match with Bray Wyatt); but it was Cena's idea to use the loosened ring ropes to completely choke out Umaga (I'm guessing his generic Samoan guy neck beads weren't helpful) to the point where he couldn't answer the 10 count.
