At TLC 2010 Dolph Ziggler showed off in a way that no-one has ever showed off before, by winning a ladder match without climbing a ladder. Ziggler was defending the Intercontinental title in a triple threat ladder match with Jack Swagger & Kofi Kingston, and was seemingly out of the picture when the latter two were at the top of a ladder and fighting over the strap. Both men unclipped the title at the same time, and dropped it to the floor. Ziggler opportunistically scampered across the ring and picked up the fallen title. Neither Swagger or Kingston had taken hold of the title, so Dolph was the first to take possession of it. The rules of the match have always said climb the ladder, get the belt to win. Ziggler skipped the ladder bit and won anyway.
