11. Blackpool Combat Club Vs Lucha Bros & Bandido

A red hot San Diego crowd and giddy Bryan Danielson at the desk kicked off Dynamite in electric style, with the Blackpool Combat Club using a brutal win over their lucha opposition as a way to toast Double Or Nothing's Anarchy In The Arena victory.

A ripper of an opener flashed back to Dynamites of old, thanks to the roar that (still) greets Wild Thing and two sets of over wrestlers beating the sh*t out of each other in the spirit of competition. Mostly just competition, anyway. The BCC have evolved into a quite remarkable heel outfit despite Jon Moxley and Danielson still gaining bloody-throated cheers out of sheer respect, and credit must go to Claudio Castagnoli and especially Wheeler Yuta for pushing forth the group's crueler agenda of late.

Bandido's delayed brainbuster was the peak of the offence for the opposition, but this was a haves/have-nots showcase and The BCC have it all right now. Yuta getting the winning pinfall here built on him claiming the Kenny Omega scalp days earlier, and further made up for his defeat last week. Not only does that put credit back in his account, but it puts over the successful and idiosyncratic methods of the group. Danielson preaches discipline, Mox is the new face of "Death Jitsu", and if you're not working to be as perfect a specimen as Castagnoli, what are we even doing here?
